Introducing our newest physician, Kamyar R. Giglou, DMD

KAMYAR R. GIGLOU, DMD

Dr. Kamyar R. Giglou began his academic career at the prestigious University of Toronto where he graduated with honors and high distinction. After undergraduate studies, he continued his tour of elite schools by moving to the Ivy League and attending dental school at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Giglou excelled in his coursework and pursued his interest in the surgical arts. He actively participated in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department, gaining valuable clinical skills. As a leader, he received several awards, including the “Best Teaching Award.”

Dr. Giglou undertook diverse electives in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery nationwide and was later accepted into the residency program at Boston University.

Dr. Giglou’s residency at Boston University offered intensive surgical training with rotations at various prestigious institutions, including Boston University Medical Center, Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, two Level I trauma centers, and VA Hospitals. As Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery during his final year, the diverse training in unique environments significantly shaped his career. Dr. Giglou is a seasoned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, specializing in dento-alveolar surgery, complex full-mouth dental implant rehabilitation, pre-prosthetic grafting, office-based anesthesia, trauma, oral pathology, and orthognathic surgery. Outside of the office, he enjoys sports, fitness, cooking, history, and quality time with friends and family.
